If you are thinking of contracting WhiteOak’s builder Adam to undertake a project to create your dream home. I think you are making a great decision.

In July 2010 1 needed a Builder to make some significant changes to a Home Unit in Cronulla that had been built in the 1970 s Still in original condition, the unit needed to be updated and I wanted to create an open plan living area with a new kitchen. I also disliked the vermiculite ceilings. so… I contacted three builders and made appointments to discuss my small project and to seek some advice and ideas.

Adam Kelly was the third Builder that I met, and by far the most enthusiastic and helpful of the three. During our discussions at the first meeting, he asked lots of questions, gave me some truly great suggestions about using the Unit space, and also how to best utilize my funds and maximize the benefits of the project. Most importantly he was respectful about working within my budget and never dismissed my questions.

Now that the project has been completed, I am so glad that I made the decision to have WhiteOak do my ‘makeover’. Adam was wonderful at including me in meetings with tradesmen. keeping me informed of progress. providing me with alternatives when there was a small problem, being totally honest about where the money has gone by providing me with all invoices. and most important of all – supporting me while I hesitantly made some fairly big decisions about how the finished Unit would look, while never taking over and wanting me to do it His way.

I look around at my brand new home, and it truly feels like it’s my home now. I chose the colours, the bathroom fittings, the kitchen, and the floor coverings – even the door handles. Although I found the task of making those choices incredibly difficult at the time. and had a few meltdowns along the way, I’m glad that I went through that process.

I have absolutely no regrets about the decision to use WhiteOak. Adam has been professional in every way, and has been responsible for an incredible Home Unit transformation.

He has consulted with me about every aspect of the job, given me advice and support, and made sure that I felt like part of the team.

He is very proud of his work and it shows in both the overall look and feel of the Unit. the quality of his work, and the small details and finishes which everyone comments on.

And… he worked ridiculously quickly and completed the Project absolutely within the Budget and timeframe we agreed to – Awesome!

Adam and Joel of White Oak during the middle months of 2008 spent a considerable time and effort in reconstructing and reconfiguring our abode at Farrer Place Oyster Bay.

The initial plan was to replace the pool decking and upper decking surrounding the lower confines of our house, but this ended up materialising into something grander!

Adam and Joel’s wise guidance helped to conjure a remarkable transformation of our living, dinning and kitchen areas encroaching onto the upper decking, thus inviting our glorious natural surrounds inside.

I would not hesitate to recommend the team at White Oak. We engaged them to replace a timber deck, two first floor balconies, remove an asbestos wall, upgrade the weatherboarding to our house and replace an internal structural beam and wall that had been subject to termite damage.
